One of the best ways to improve your linguistic and cultural literacy is to study abroad. NEIU offers short-term summer programs, as well as semester-long programs through Northeastern's partner universities. Shorter study tours are also offered throughout the academic year.
Students can complete courses toward the Spanish Major, Spanish Minor, French Studies Minor, and Korean Minor at these and other universities for a semester or a full academic year. Tuition is paid at Northeastern, and courses transfer as Northeastern courses. You may use your financial aid package to cover all or part of the tuition, transportation, room, and board.
