- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
The University is closed the following dates:
- Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 (Labor Day)
- Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 (Election Day)
- Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 (Thanksgiving)
- Friday, Nov. 29, 2024 (Thanksgiving)
- Monday, Dec 23, 2024-Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 (Holiday Break)

Rebeca Lamadrid-Quevedo, has been part of the Northeastern Illinois University El Centro team since 2009, becoming the interim director in September of 2022. Along with the El Centro team, she has been working consistently in developing and implementing initiatives in the area of student recruitment and retention with a focus on first-generation students and the Latino community.

Before becoming Coordinator, Mimi volunteered as a Math Peer Leader for Northeastern's Math Enrichment Workshop Program. During summers at El Centro, she creates interactive workshops for students enrolled in the Summer Bridge Program, focusing on team-building and college transition. She enjoys interviewing students, learning about their amazing accomplishments, and editing their success stories for the El Centro Newsletter.

Danny received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University and recently obtained his master’s degree in Higher Education focusing on ENgaging Latinx Communities for Education (ENLACE) at Northeastern Illinois University. Before joining the El Centro team, he had been in the human resources field for five years. He realized his passion was for higher education after recruiting college students for internship opportunities. In his spare time you can find him running the streets of Chicago as he trains for marathons, attending dance socials, and exploring new books. Danny is excited to start his new journey and has an open-door policy to learn, mentor and connect with individuals.
