Introduction
The School Health Graduate Certificate is designed to meet the needs of professionals who work in a school setting or with school-related partners. In addition to developing foundational knowledge in health content areas, students are engaged in learning best practices in health education curriculum development, selection and design of assessments, skills-based teaching strategies, school health program planning and evaluation, and school health advocacy. Throughout the program, ongoing attention is given to equity and justice in health education and to developing health-literate individuals.
