The Stage Center Theatre at Northeastern Illinois University will present Marc Camoletti’s “Boeing-Boeing.” As a testament to its popularity, in 1991 this play was listed in the “Guinness Book of Records” as the most performed French play throughout the world. Set in the 1960s, bachelor Bernard couldn’t be happier. He has a flat in Paris and is engaged to three beautiful stewardesses who don’t know about each other. When Bernard’s friend Robert comes to town and the new and improved Boeing jet gets thrown off schedule, Bernard’s plans get tangled. All three women are in town at the same time, and Robert can’t keep up with which story goes to which woman. Will Bernard wind up with anyone? See how it all plays out.
Performances will be held at the Stage Center Theatre, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 17; Friday, July 18; Saturday, July 19; Thursday, July 31; Friday, August 1; and Saturday, August 2.
