Our workshops are developed with educators in mind and are led by teacher-leaders with extensive experience in teaching all aspects of writing.

- Introduction to the Power of Writing Workshop: July 10-14
$300 fee includes 30 CPDUs - Media Literacy - Interactive Explorations: July 17-19
$150 fee includes 15 CPDUs - Equity in Teaching Writing - Purpose & Authenticity: July 17-19
$150 fee includes 15 CPDUs
The above workshops will be held at Northeastern's Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies, 700 E. Oakwood, Chicago
- Weaving Writing Into Your Balanced Bi-Literacy Block: July 24-25
$100 fee includes 8 CPDUs
Workshop will be held at Rachel Carson Elementary, 5516 S. Maplewood Ave., Chicago
Schools can send three people for the price of two. Individuals may apply for scholarship funds to support attendance. See the IWP website for more information.
