Please join us for a celebration of the National Council of Teachers of English and National Writing Project’s Day on Writing, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.
Smokey will treat us to a keynote address titled “When the World Hands Us a Curriculum,” after which you will attend one of four breakout sessions:
- “Picture This: Enhancing Comprehension with Images” (Smokey Daniels)
- “Media Literacy: Helping Students Make Sense” (Laurie Hendrickson)
- “Translanguaging to Support English Learners” (Adelfio Garcia)
- “Engaging in Inquiry and Writing with Elementary Students” (Rebecca D’Angelo and Sandra Laszkiewicz)
