There are internal and external sources of funding for research. The Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) can help you find the funding source that is right for you and your project.
Funding Interest Form
ORSP works with Northeastern faculty and staff to identify potential funding opportunities for research and programmatic interests. Download and complete the Funding Interest Form and email it to ORSP staff at ORSP@neiu.edu. Based on this information, ORSP will seek out funding opportunities for your research.
Grants.gov
Grants.gov is the clearinghouse for federal grant announcements. The majority of the announcements are posted not more than 30 days prior to the deadline - the minimum time required by law.
