Welcome to 2026 New Student Orientation!
Undergraduate Students
All new first-year students must contact your academic advisor to get signed up for orientation.
New transfer students can sign up below for orientation. We highly recommend that transfer students register for their classes prior to attending Orientation.
Attending orientation is required for all new freshmen and transfers. Before signing up for orientation, please reply to your offer of admission and reserve your spot.
- New first-year students must meet with an academic advisor to register for classes. Upon class registration, your academic advisor will help you sign up for orientation.

Advising is not available at orientation, so transfer students should meet with their advisor and register for courses before attending orientation. Transfer students with less than 45 credits should contact the Advising Center and those with 45 or more should contact their Major Advisor, to get registered for courses before attending orientation.
All enrolled students will be assessed a $70 mandatory orientation fee (whether or not they attend) on the student billing statement.
Graduate Students
Incoming graduate students will receive direct communication from the the Graduate Admissions Office and the College of Graduate Students and Research during mid-summer.
