NEIU Weekend

There will be many opportunities for us to honor Northeastern's 150th anniversary throughout the year. We hope you will join in and recognize this milestone as a community.

April 9-13, 2018

To celebrate Northeastern's sesquicentennial, we are launching a 150 Selfie Challenge! From April 9 through the end of the day on April 13, players will take on selfie challenges, questions or missions to get points and those with the most points will win one of five $150 cash prizes. Daily prizes will also be awarded.

Established in 2010, NETT Day at Northeastern Illinois University is an event that celebrates technology, the way in which we interact with it and how we use it to improve society. As a sponsor of this year's event, NEIU150 acknowledges that the sesquicentnnial is not only about the past, but also the future jobs in technology that Northeastern students will fill.

NEIU Weekend is a relatively new tradition that brings together current and former students, faculty and staff. They, along with their family and friends, are welcome to partake in the festivities, which culminate with the Golden Gala. This year's theme is "Celebrating 150 Years of NEIU," and the weekend will include live music, a picnic, beer garden, family activities and more.
