Veterinary Assistant Training

150 hours of instruction in veterinary assistant practices and 100 hours in hands-on externship experience. This program prepares candidates to work in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, in animal control and for pet adoption facilities.

WIOA Approved Training Program
180 hours of instruction in retail and hospital pharmacy practices and 120 hours in hands-on externship experience. This program prepares candidates for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).

64 hours of classroom instruction (16 weeks) in Patient Care, Medical Administration, Phlebotomy and EKG and 220 hours (12 weeks) of hands-on externship experience.

Medical Billing & Coding Training
Begins September 4 and continues with open enrollment
The Medical Billing and Coding Online Training Program prepares candidates for three exams: the Billing and Coding Specialist Certification (CBCS) by NHA, the Certified Coding Association (CCA) by AHIMA, and the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by AAPC which qualify graduates to work in hospitals, physician offices and other healthcare facilities.
