The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Language Arts: Elementary Education program is open to individuals with a B.A. in a field other than teaching and who want to be K-8 teachers.  Students who complete the M.A.T. program earn K-9 licensure, a Masters degree, and middle school endorsement. The M.A.T. program is designed for our students to develop the craft, knowledge, and skills to be successful, creative, caring, and critical teachers for the 21st century.
