The Master Advisor Colloquia were also created to assist advisors with their role as an advisor to a NEIU student organization, including national trends, expansion of the co-curricular experience, assessing student leadership skills and legal liability issues. Each colloquium provides advisors an opportunity to converse with fellow advisors, while providing an opportunity to gain a national and local perspective on student organization issues.

Advisors will be provided with tools to help assess how their student leaders are developing their leadership skills, including communication, decision making, teamwork and much more. Join this interactive workshop in learning how rubrics, one of the most notable forms of assessment, can help every advisor facilitate growth within their students.
