Access Requirements

The Physical Education Complex is a restricted access facility.
All users must have a valid ID to enter.

YOU MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ENTER THE FACILITY. PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED.
Those who are not 18 must be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian) and
may only access the facility during family hours (see below) and for specific programs
(i.e. Neptune Swim Classes).
  • Current NEIU Students must have a NEIU Student ID card or have a valid picture ID and
    a copy of their current class schedule.
  • Community members will be issued a membership number associated with a valid picture
    ID card. Community members must bring that picture ID with them to access the facility.


  • Alumni Members must obtain a NEIU Alumni Card from the Alumni Relations Office.
    Alumni members are required to bring their Alumni ID card to access the facility with a
    current Alumni Membership.


  • Affiliate Members (WTTW, North Park University, Etc.) must bring a valid picture ID
    from their affiliate institution. Membership numbers will be assigned based upon those
    pieces of ID.


  • Program Participants will be issued a form of ID for access to the facility to be
    shown at the front desk. Contact the administrator of your program for details.
  • Daily Pass users must pay the $8 daily fee and present a valid State of Illinois ID
    card at the time of purchase. The ID card will be retained at the front desk until the
    user exits the facility.

All uses must wear appropriate attire at all times. A shirt and shoes is required in
all areas except the pool and locker rooms.
Family Hours allow current students & members to bring immediate family members into
the facility at no charge. Family members must have ID. There is a limit of 4
family members per visit.
