40TH ANNUAL GOLF OUTING HIGHLIGHTS
The 40th Annual Chuck Kane Memorial Golf Outing was the most successful event in the history of the Outing! Held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Highland Park Country Club, even with a few scattered rain showers, there was plenty of sunshine and tons of great golf! Highlights included:
- More than $36,500 raised for scholarships
- 120 golfers

Entertaining and engaging speech by David Kaplan, Chicago sports columnist, radio and television personality
- Amazing Silent Auction, raising over $4,200!
The Kane Golf Outing is Northeastern's oldest philanthropic tradition. Named for former NEIU athletic director and golf coach, Professor Charles G. Kane, the Outing has provided scholarships for over 110 NEIU students in all colleges of the University.
