Educational Studies Minor

The Educational Studies Minor (18-20 credit hours) is designed to allow students to investigate the educational process in specific areas.

Required Course:
2 credit hours: EDFN-203 Laboratory in the Foundations of Education

EDFN Area Courses:
12 credit hours: (pre-approved by the EDFN coordinator)

Courses are required in one or more of the following areas as related to education: anthropology, history, philosophy, program evaluation, psychology, quantitative analysis and/or sociology. Courses will be selected by the student in consultation with the EDFN Coordinator.

Education Electives:
4-6 credit hours: (pre-approved by the EDFN coordinator)

Electives will be selected by the student in consultation with an advisor from the Educational Foundations Program.
