University Technology Service Training
The University Technology Service Training (UTS-Training) department provides computer literacy training and support for faculty and staff through workshops, online tutorials, training manuals, newsletters, and this website.
Workshop topics include the following application software:
Microsoft Access 2010
Microsoft Excel 2010
Microsoft Outlook 2010
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
Microsoft Publisher 2010
Microsoft Word 2010
Microsoft Windows 7
We are anticipating on adding additional workshops to the above list. The workshop calendar is available at Technology Training Schedule. We also provide customized group workshops on selected topics. A minimum of 5 people are required per group. Other services offered through this area include online resources. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to contact us at trainme@neiu.edu whenever they have additional training related questions.
This area also manages and oversees the use of the faculty and staff training room located in LWH-4066. Faculty and staff may request use of the room for employee training and other events through R25.
