By clicking on the "Students" tab after accessing the iTransfer site, students can utilize the Single School GECC Worksheet to find out which courses will fulfill the core from the school they plan on transferring from.
Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)
Northeastern Illinois University is a participant in the IllinoisArticulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement that allowstransfer of the completed Illinois General Education CoreCurriculum between participating institutions. Successfulcompletion of the General Education Core Curriculum atany participating college or university in Illinois assurestransferring students that lower-division general educationrequirements for an associate or baccalaureate degree havebeen satisfied and allows students to transfer this portion ofan associate or baccalaureate degree from one participatingIAI Institution to another without incurring a loss of credit.This agreement is in effect for students entering as a first timestudent in summer 1998 (and thereafter).
