Will Mares Bio
Will is currently a work-study student in the Veterans Service Office, where he uses social media to attract perspective student veterans to NEIU. He transferred from St. Leo’s College, prior to that he was in the Navy (Construction Forces) for five years with two deployments. Will is working on a double major in Business Marketing and Communications in Media. Additionally, he also gives campus tours and sometimes panel discussions as part of the Eagle Guide program and as a peer mentor. This is his third year involved with the International Business Conference hosted by NEIU’s College of Business and Management. He joined the executive committee in charge of planning the conference. His team put out a 3-minute video highlighting the conference and its intentions. After the 2011 conference he generated an 8-minute video with interviews of invited guest speakers and reactions of students attending the conference sessions. This year, Will is the 2012 IBC Coordinator. He was also the Marketing Club President from 2010-2011.
