Auditing a Course
Students who meet the admission requirements of the University and are registered for a course may audit the course if they have written permission of the instructor. NOTE: Courses in the College of Business & Management must also obtain written permission of the chairperson.
Students with financial aid awards should contact the Financial Aid Office to determine if auditing a course will effect their eligibility for financial aid.
A grade of ‘V’, Visitor/Auditor will be indicated on the student’s transcript. No credit will be earned, the grade is not convertible to a letter grade, nor applicable toward graduation credits.
Once the audit grade option has been selected the course can not been changed back to a letter grade for course credit. Students registered for credit may not change to the audit grade option after the deadline.
Refer to the current Schedule of Classes to determine the deadline to submit an approved written request.
