Membership Benefits
All Northeastern Illinois University alumni are members of the NEIU Alumni Association. You can upgrade your membership with a gift to the NEIU Alumni Association (NEIUAA), which will help enhance programs, services and resources that foster meaningful connections and relationships within the University community. All Blue & Gold and Golden Eagle level memberships are available to friends and supporters (non-graduates) of NEIU at the 'Associate' designation. Your upgraded membership designation is applicable for a full year from the date your contribution is received.
Alumni Association Student Membership
The NEIUAA Student Membership is free, however it requires student engagement in a minimum of three activities per semester. Student members receive the same basic Blue & Gold benefits and will serve as NEIUAA student alumni representatives at events. Engagement opportunities include:

Engagement in Institutional Advancement professional development (may include projects/programs with the Office of Alumni Relations or Marketing departments)

Be eligible to apply for an NEIUAA professional internship/scholarship (may include study abroad or research opportunity)

Work on initiatives such as the 'Class Gift', community volunteer activities and other 'envision the future' as a NEIU alumnus/a events
Basic Alumni Association Membership Benefits and Services
($5 card processing fee). This level is for all eligible alumni who have graduated from Northeastern Illinois University :

Annual membership to NEIU Campus Recreation Facilities for $185 (almost 40% off the community price of $300)

Access to the new NEIU Alumni Center and to resources such as the alumni library and lounge, computer stations and designated parking for when alumni and associate members visit the Center

On-site use of Ronald Williams Library print and electronic collections

Use of academic computing labs - must purchase print on demand debit card in order to print from any computer on campus

Blue & Gold Membership
($30 annual donation to the NEIUAA). This level is for an individual paid alumnus/a only

Charter Membership Extension (alumni who joined before December 31, 2010, who have renewed each consecutive year and are in good standing will automatically be upgraded and given 'Lifetime Blue & Gold Family' status for an ongoing annual renewal donation of $30).
Golden Eagle Membership
($350 annual donation to the NEIUAA). This level is for an individual paid alumnus/a only.

Golden Eagle Family Lifetime Membership
A one-time gift of $1,500 or five consecutive annual gifts of $350 will establish a Golden Eagle Family Lifetime Membership. Benefits extended to up to five household members (includes spouse/partner and family listed on membership application). Golden Eagle Family Lifetime benefits include all of the Blue & Gold level benefits/services plus the following new benefits:
