Assistant professor, economics, earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Shortly thereafter, he taught at Beloit College in Wisconsin and was an assistant professor at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Having authored and co-authored more than 40 journal articles and book chapters, he is actively conducting research on a number of international macroeconomic and financial topics. His main interests include exchange market pressure, capital flows, and volatility transmission, particularly in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and other emerging markets.
