Chicago Teachers Center
Since its founding in 1978, Northeastern Illinois University's College of Education's Chicago Teachers' Center has been an innovator in developing programs to improve education. The Center challenges the educational system to better serve diverse cultural and ethnic populations by creating model programs for teachers and students. We collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, businesses, and community agencies to provide a wide range of professional development and instructional services at school sites, the Center, and the University. The Center offers professional development programs for teachers, dropout prevention and college bound programs for students, and parent workshops.
