BiographyCristian Pennington is the Office Support Associate for the Department of Music and Dance Programs. As a valued member of the administrative team, he assists in facilitating the daily operations of the department's front office, providing support to the Administrative Assistant and the department overall.
Music has always had a central role in Cristian’s life. Coming from a family of professional musicians, he is a trumpet player. He started playing during elementary school. He studied privately with a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra through high school, and continued to play in college; touring the country with the Moody Symphonic Band.
Cristian’s passion is the study of theology and philosophy. His focus is post-Nietzschean/postsecular religious thought, specifically the "Sprache Denkers" such as Eugen Rosenstock-Huessey. Cristian spends his non-working and non-reading hours cooking and cultivating his love of all things outdoors.
