Eligibility
Eligibility: First year NEIU students accepted for Fall 2012. You must take the University placement exam to be considered for participation. You will be contacted by the program, if you are eligible.
Advantages of participating:
- Get a jump start on your academic career;
- Experience workshops aimed toward improving your Math, Reading, and Writing skills;
- Work with Student Success Coaches and peer aides to learn how to navigate college life successfully;
- Work with Student Success Coaches and peer aides to explore academic opportunities and different careers at NEIU;
- Based on post program placement test results, you may be eligible to advance to the next level in Math, Reading, and/or Writing; and
- Receive a $500 tuition scholarship upon successful completion of the program.
