The NEIU Safety Program assists all individuals, departments and committees in order to promote safe work practices and maintain a safe learning environment for its faculty, staff, students and visitors. The Safety Program serves as the University’s liaison with external regulatory agencies and is committed to achieving compliance with University, local, state and federal policies and regulations through audits, program development, education, incident investigations and consultation.
