"At Northeastern, diversity doesn't just mean multicultural. It also means multigenerational. It means having a wide range of views and finding common ground in pursuit of education and the good for humanity and future generations.
I had been to four different colleges before my time at NEIU, and this was the first time I had really gotten involved and immersed myself. I met a ton of people of different ages. It was neat to meet people from all walks of life. And having smaller classes made it easier to interact and get to know people.
I would recommend transferring to NEIU for the cost, community, and professors. The University helps tremendously in trying to make school affordable for students. The teachers also go the extra mile to help, and they are very passionate. My internship under Todd Crawford was an awesome opportunity to grow in my photography skills and Professor Edie Rubinowitz in the CMT department was more than willing to share her connections and encourage us in our strengths. She went above and beyond to make sure I succeeded."
