Northeastern Illinois University has named former Associate Provost R. Shayne Cofer as Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Northeastern Illinois University awarded tenure and promotion to associate professor to nine members of the faculty, effective Aug. 16. 2023. The following faculty members were introduced and approved by the Board of Trustees to receive this promotion during the Board’s April 13, 2023 meeting.

A screening of the film will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at Constellation Chicago, 3111 N. Western Ave. This event is free and open to the public.

Following a comprehensive internal search process, Dr. Katrina E. Bell-Jordan was named Interim President of the University for a one-year period beginning July 1, 2023.

The premiere Spanish dance company and center in the U.S., who is also in residence at Northeastern, will host their annual event June 16-24.
