Throughout the years, the Northeastern Illinois University Foundation has partnered with alumni, donors, corporations and organizations to create vehicles of funding support that allow Northeastern students to strive for and complete their degrees, and allow programs and departments to supplement and expand their educational offerings and capabilities. Those who create scholarships and funds in support of programs and departments may do so in honor or in memory of former professors, colleagues, students and family, or the programs and departments that left an indelible mark on them.
The Northeastern Illinois University Foundation and its Board of Directors is committed to providing support for the students and faculty of Northeastern through private, philanthropic donations. Since 1969, the NEIU Foundation has existed as an independent, 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit corporation in the State of Illinois and is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving agency for Northeastern Illinois University.
The NEIU Foundation is grateful for the partnerships with those donors who entrusted us with their resources to steward them to the benefit of the students, programs and departments of the university.
Here, we want to celebrate and highlight the endowed scholarships that will give far into the future, supporting generations of Golden Eagles to come!
