Career Development

The Northeastern Illinois University Office of Alumni Relations and Career Development Center offer comprehensive career assistance programming designed to support your ability to transition into a new position or to explore employment options. Career Development offers many virtual career services and resources to Northeastern alumni, such as: 

  • Resume and cover letter help
  • Mock interviews, career search strategies and networking opportunities
  • Webinars, career fairs and other career-related events

To schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with a Career Development staff member, you may do so through your Handshake account!

NEIU Libraries 

Northeastern Illinois University Alumni Association (NEIUAA) members may check out NEIU library materials, including books and DVDs. Present your alumni membership card at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Many of the libraries resources and services are available to alumni during regular business hours. 

Online Resources

Alumni are welcome to use any of the dozens of NEIU Library databases by visiting the Library in-person.

Library Search Tool (Primo VE)

The Library Search Tool (Primo VE) allows you to search for books, magazines, DVDs, and other items at the Libraries. 

Research Guides

NEIU librarians created research guides to help you with your research. The guides are organized by subject and most guides include the links to free, scholarly websites.

Campus Recreation

Have fitness goals you want to reach? As a member of the NEIUAA, you are eligible for a discount on a membership at Campus Recreation! 

Your campus recreation membership includes access to the indoor track, the weight room, the pickleball courts, the rock climbing wall, and so much more!
