Northeastern reports less-than-half time, half-time, and full-time status for loan deferment, Social Security eligibility, veterans benefits, etc. as shown in the following table. Second bachelor’s degree students will be verified based on the undergraduate criteria as stated below.

For students taking classes during the summer, the status is determined by the total number of enrolled summer hours.
Dates of attendance will be reported using the beginning and ending dates of the specific summer session(s) in which classes are being taken.
Degree Verification
The National Student Clearinghouse is Northeastern’s authorized agent for providing degree verifications. Employers or background screening companies requesting degree information should visit National Student Clearinghouse.
If you are a student and need to prove that you have earned a degree (to a potential employer, for example) before the degree is posted to your Northeastern transcript, you should submit a Degree Verification Letter request. The completed form should be submitted to Enrollment Management Services (D 101), or mailed to:
