Second Bachelor’s Applicant Instructions
You are a second bachelor's applicant if you have already been awarded a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and wish to pursue a second bachelor's degree.
Required Documents
Required documents are official transcripts from the college or university where the bachelor’s degree was awarded.
If you attended a college or university outside of the United States, a course-by-course or subject analysis report from Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc. is required and must state that the degree is equivalent to a United States bachelor's.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must also provide required immigration documents.
International students must provide additional documents as described in the International Applicants section.

Second Bachelor’s Admissions Criteria To meet admission criteria you must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Degrees earned from schools outside of the United States must be recognized as four year equivalent degrees by Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc.
Additional Information for Second Bachelor’s Applicants
Tuition and fees for a Second Bachelor’s Degree student will be assessed at the graduate student rate.
Coursework taken during a previous undergraduate or graduate degree program may not be used to fulfill the requirements for the second bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 30 credit hours must be earned at Northeastern Illinois University which are above and beyond any degrees previously earned at Northeastern Illinois University.
Students may not be enrolled in two programs simultaneously.
