Assistant professor, accounting, earned her Ph.D. from the University of Memphis School of Accountancy. She has done research on, among other things, issues of national debt and government spending, enterprise risk management and the CEO's risk taking behavior, and on the black and white unemployment gap. She also worked at an audit firm as a senior-in-charge auditor.
