Assistant professor, English, earned her M.F.A. from Vermont College and is the author of two books--a collection of short stories called The Brutal Language of Love, and a novel called Towelhead, which was made into a film by Alan Ball in 2008. Her third book, a memoir called The Dragon Lies Down, will be published in 2013. She will be teaching fiction, creative nonfiction and screenplay workshops.
