The Daniel L. Goodwin College of Education will host Associate Professor Mirelsie Velázquez for the annual Jean Burke Carlson and Diane Berger Ehrlich Memorial Lecture on Nov. 12.
The forum will be held Nov. 15. This year’s theme is “Nothing About Us Without Us: Community-Driven Cancer Solutions.”
Spearheaded by the College of Arts and Sciences, Northeastern’s sponsorship includes opportunities to raise awareness of the University by partnering with the Chicago Sky.
Cortes is one of 45 fellows from Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Emerging HSIs chosen for the one-year program.
The Inauguration Ceremony was part of a three-day celebration to welcome the University's eighth president.
Katrina E. Bell-Jordan, Ph.D., will be inaugurated as the University’s eighth president on Oct. 4. Celebratory activities will be held Oct. 3-5.
