Welcome to the Cyrus of Persia Scholarship Fundraising Campaign!
Vision
To provide promising and underserved students the opportunity to achieve their baccalaureate degrees completely free of debt at Northeastern Illinois University.
Objective
To establish full-ride scholarships named after the ancient Persian king, Cyrus the Great, at Northeastern Illinois University. The first such scholarships in the name of Cyrus will pay for tuition, fees and books for four academic years. Cyrus Scholars will be offered one year of free housing within the University’s residence hall, The Nest. All promising high school students in financial need who are planning to complete their baccalaureate degree in any major within four years are eligible to apply.
