The Employee Assistance Program provides resources through ComPsych to eligible faculty and staff who are experiencing personal problems and need support and information during difficult times. The EAP is a free, voluntary, and confidential program that provides problem identification, counseling, and referral services. The EAP also extends its resources to dependents covered by the group insurance plan.
The EAP can assist with:
- Anger management
- Anxious feelings
- Conflicts at work or home
- Domestic violence
- Elder-care issues
- Family/parenting issues
- Feelings of worry or the blues
- Financial concerns
- Grief/loss
- Pre- and post-natal concerns
- Problems with drugs or alcohol
- Stress
